I could list publications, awards, degrees, influential people I know . . . but, that’s for Google. As far as my writings, though, I grew up on a farm, I am a veteran, I’m a recovering university professor, I’m curious, and fallible, prone to humor, a skeptic, a lover of the outdoors and the world we risk losing, a guardedly optimistic realist, and on and on, who discovers something new every time I sit to write, or have a beer by the creek after mowing the lawn.
